Meet the Creator
Aloha, I’m Jazarae! I am a healer, a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and deeply connected to my indigenous roots. Crafting each piece is a blend of intuition, positive energy, and the vibrant cultural tapestry that defines me. I am a huge advocate for human rights and strive to always educate myself and others on important topics that society likes to shun, hide or disparage. I am a free spirited critical thinker that enjoys knowledge and radical unapologetic self expression.
About Just Mino'aka
“Just Mino’aka” means “Just Smile” in Hawaiian and encapsulates my mission perfectly. My goal is to make people smile through the art I create and or the positive energy I emanate. This passion was sparked by a desire to guide others toward the positive light, embracing holistic approaches beyond conventional healthcare systems.
Aloha Smiley’s and welcome to Just Mino’aka (Smile), where smiles are crafted with intention, and every creation resonates with positive energy. The journey to healing and self-discovery takes a holistic and metaphysical path that is windy road that is never ending. I’m Jazarae, the founder of Just Mino’aka, and I’m honored to share my transformative story with you. Much of my inspiration comes from my culture, its practices, and the experiences I’ve gained throughout my own life, this allows me to infuse each piece with the spirit of my own Aloha.
Having dedicated 10 years to the medical field, as a medical assistant, working as a traveling phlebotomist, and serving in diverse healthcare practices such as Family practice, OBGYN, Pediatrics, and even the local jail (CCDC). From 2017-2020, I excitedly pursued nursing and was the top of my class as the hopes to help and be involved with my community increased. My path took an unexpected turn in 2020 as a challenging period soon entered, as with most of us during that time (COVID 😫). I sought solace in finding my life’s true purpose through researching, learning, and embracing various forms of soul-searching modalities. This helped align me with my current journey, a more connected and metaphysical approach to medicine.
Rooted in my identity as a Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian), I embarked on a journey of reconnection with my roots and ancestors. I went home to Hana, Maui from Kauai Island and laid to rest one of the greatest people in my family. Fun Fact: My family has a lava stone cemetery where my papa was the last to be laid to rest next to the generations that came before him. During this transformative period, I discovered the profound energy of crystals (yes, this is science-backed), myself and my connection to the world around me, inspiring me to share this connection through the art of crystal accessories and energy healing and soul guiding.
I have been expanding my professional knowledge base and found a way to merge this with my Hawaiian culture, furthering my journey as a healer. We have our own traditional Hawaiian concepts of healing a person’s physical body, emotional state, and/or spiritual consciousness through ancient practices involving various modalities, including prayer, herbs, and connecting to a higher power, the art of healing through inner work.
Currently, I am a Conduit Intuitive specializing in connecting Hawaiian values and principles into modern verbiage to help my clients find mental, physical, and spiritual clarity. Eventually, I will expand into Hypnotherapy, as the range of hypnotherapies isn’t limited. Hypnotherapy may be used for smoking cessation, weight loss, motivation, and can help remove negative thought patterns. Hypnotherapy is also known to aid during dental or even labor pains and can help in the discovery and elimination of chronic pain conditions, aiding in their relief. This is because some pain may stem from ancestral/generational traumas of the past or emotional and energetic blockages of the present. Eventually, I would like to aid those along their spiritual journeys, utilizing past life regressions.
As I continue to learn and grow, Just Mino’aka stands as a beacon of joy, guiding those willing to explore their own truths. My mission is clear: to inspire, love, and encourage critical thinking, self-expression, and acceptance in everyone I encounter.
